DVD Authoring Expert & Audio Visual Editor(06/29/2011)

Position Summary

Big Bad Boo Studios is looking for DVD Authoring specialists who can create high quality professional DVDs with complex sub-menus for retail consumers. The ideal candidate will also be able to audio and video files to overlay dubbed versions and modify video for business needs. This is a Full-Time or Part-Time position depended on the candidate's range of capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Author DVDs
• Minor editing of audio and video files
• Convert audio and video into different file formats to support VOD

Requirements

• MUST have 3 years of experience and come with a full portfolio of sample work in the field of DVD Authoring
• Expertise in DVD Studio Pro, Motion, Final Cut and Compressor
• Degree or diploma in Editing would be considered a bonus but is not mandatory
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively under strict deadline
• Ability to work with people from different disciplines and cultures with varying degrees of technical knowledge
• Strong work ethic and team player - may need to work late nights to complete assignments under tight deadlines.
• Multi-tasker and self-starter who thrives in small, team-oriented environment
• Experience with Mac computers is a requirement
• Familiarity with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite is required
