Storyboard Artists (03/17/2011) Position Summary

Big Bad Boo is seeking experienced Storyboard Artists. The storyboard artist is responsible for storyboarding an 11 minute episode from thumbs to completion, for the TV series “1001 Nights”.

We are a young company looking for an energetic team player who can positively contribute to creating the best properties in a fun studio environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all stages of the storyboard
• Handing in the board by the due date and working within a three week schedule
• Organizing and managing own work and files efficiently

Requirements

• MUST have 2 years of experience and come with a full portfolio of sample work in the field of storyboarding for children’s TV
• Degree or diploma in fine arts or animation or equivalent
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
• Ability to clearly communicate an artistic vision
• Good understanding of pacing, timing, staging and compositing shots
• Ability to work effectively under strict deadline and minimal supervision
• Ability to work with people from different disciplines and cultures with varying degrees of technical knowledge
• Strong work ethic and team player
• Experience with Mac computers is a plus
